American Scientific was opened in 1999 by several partners when they saw a need in the Portland area. Each partner brought years of experience to the business. Originally their focus was on microscopes and service work for schools. Over the years the business has evolved and grown. We now carry a full line of laboratory supplies and chemicals. Our customers range from schools, food processing companies, extraction, labs, and other industrial businesses. While we still service microscopes we have made many changes so we can serve all our customer’s needs. When you call us during business hours you can count on talking with a knowledgeable person.
